We are verrryyyy excited to share that we are offering three 1-night Queer and Trans choir nights this fall/winter! We are still working on our dream of a more regular queer and trans choir, but in the meantime we wanted to do some 1-night events to keep the gay vibes flowing. This is Vol. 3 of 3 and you are welcome to attend 1, 2 or all 3!

Where: Broadview United, 3703 St. Aidan’s St, Victoria

What: 2-hour choir hangs where we warm-up our voices and hearts, build community, and learn and sing a different song each time. Each night will have a theme! Dressing up is always encouraged and the song choices will be inspired by these themes. Because this is a shorter time period for singing, we will be sending out the music for each night a week before for you to listen to and get familiar with the songs.

When: Dec 10th - 7-9PM * theme is solstice/darkest day vibes, dress up ideas include: the night sky, tree, roast chicken etc

Snacks: Yes we will be providing snacks during our 15-20 min break

Price: $25-45 sliding scale per session, please email us at gay4choir@gmail.com if money is a barrier, no one turned away for lack of funds.

Are you 18-25? Broadview United has generously offered to sponsor 8 spots per night, and you can choose the BVU sponsored ticket option when you sign up.

Covid & Community Care: Masks are encouraged, air purifiers will be working their magic and windows will be open. There is a strict don’t come if sick policy. Thanks for taking care of each other!
